| The International Lottery in Liechtenstein Foundation (ILLF) is a charitable foundation that operates Internet lotteries. So far ILLF has paid CHF 2,487,843.00 (US$ 1,975,749.00) to charitable causes in Liechtenstein, many of which support projects in poorer nations internationally. Individual lottery websites may also choose to support additional charities. For example, PLUS Lotto has already raised millions for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
ILLF started with the web`s first online lottery in 1995, and has been broadening its audience ever since.
ILLF is state controlled and authorized by the Liechtenstein government. Games and operations are audited by Thöny Treuhand AG, Vaduz. The larger jackpot games are insured through Lloyds of London brokers.
